چکیده

We study the chaotic signatures of geodesic dynamics a nonspinning test particle in effective-one-body (EOB) formalism for inspiral process spinning binary black holes. first show that second-order post-Newtonian (2PN) EOB is nonintegrable by demonstrating metric does not satisfy criterion existence Carter constant. then employ numerical to find plateaus rotation curve, which are associated with Birkhoff islands Poincar\'e surface section, signifying system. Our results chaos dynamics, especially regime interest Kerr bounds component holes hold. also behavior more obvious as spin parameter $a$ deformed background increases. can help uncover implications dynamical gravitational wave astronomy. Finally, we present some preliminary due corrections at 3PN order.

Effective one-body approach to general relativistic two-body dynamics

We map the general relativistic two-body problem onto that of a test particle moving in an effective external metric. This effective-one-body approach defines, in a non-perturbative manner, the late dynamical evolution of a coalescing binary system of compact objects. The transition from the adiabatic inspiral, driven by gravitational radiation damping, to an unstable plunge, induced by strong ...

Dynamics of one-resonant biholomorphisms

Our first main result is a construction of a simple formal normal form for holomorphic diffeomorphisms in Cn whose differentials have a one-dimensional family of resonances in the first m eigenvalues, m ≤ n (but more resonances are allowed for other eigenvalues). Next, we provide invariants and give conditions for the existence of basins of attraction. Finally, we give applications and examples...

Three-Body Dynamics in One Dimension

We discuss the general three-particle quantum scattering problem, for motion restricted to the full line. Specifically, we formulate the three-body problem in one dimension in terms of the (Faddeev-type) integral equation approach. As a first application, we develop a spinless, one-dimensional (1-D) model that mimics three-nucleon dynamics in one dimension. In addition, we investigate the effec...

The resonant body transistor.

This paper introduces the resonant body transistor (RBT), a silicon-based dielectrically transduced nanoelectromechanical (NEM) resonator embedding a sense transistor directly into the resonator body. Combining the benefits of FET sensing with the frequency scaling capabilities and high quality factors (Q) of internal dielectrically transduced bar resonators, the resonant body transistor achiev...
